Prime Minister Stefan Löfven: “Very serious”

New intensified corona measures are now being introduced in three more regions:
Halland, Örebro and Jönköping.
That message was delivered by Prime Minister Stefan Löfven at a press conference:
-The development is going in the wrong direction. The situation is very serious.
In the counties of Stockholm, Uppsala, Västra Götaland and Östergötland, there are already stricter general guidelines to stop the rapid spread of the coronavirus.
Starting today, Tuesday, the same advice will be introduced in three more affected regions:
Halland, Örebro and Jönköping.
“More and more intensive care units are being used to care for seriously ill coviditis patients, and all indications are that the number of deaths will increase,” says the prime minister.
The strictest local councils, which now include seven in ten Swedes, are primarily:
• Refrain from having physical contact with anyone other than the one who lives.
• Refrain from staying in closed environments such as shops, shopping centers, museums, libraries, bathrooms and gyms, with the exception of necessary visits to, for example, supermarkets and pharmacies.
• Refrain from parties, weddings, and large funerals.
• Refrain from participating, for example, in meetings, concerts, performances, sports training, matches and competitions. However, this does not apply to sports training for children and youth born in 2005 or later.
• Avoid public transportation and other places where congestion may occur.
• Work from home if you can.

Shoot for another ten billion
Stefan Löfven also announced that the decision on a new maximum limit of eight people at the same table in bars and restaurants, which applies throughout the country.
All audiences at shows or sporting events must also sit down.
– What we do now makes a difference. It makes a difference how and if we should celebrate Lucia and what kind of Christmas celebration we should have and who can participate, says Stefan Löfven.
New millions have also been added.
An additional ten billion are reserved for the additional costs of municipalities and regions due to the virus pandemic. These are costs associated with COVID-19, for example higher fees for testing, which regions and municipalities can apply for, not general government grants.
