Zlatan Ibrahimovic may remain in Hammarby for a time.
La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that it is not yet clear when the striker will return to Milan.
On Tuesday, Milan began performing medical examinations on its players before the individual training sessions that are now allowed and that are expected in the future. But the team’s Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, was not there at the time. He is still in Stockholm, although the Italian media previously reported that he thought he would be in Milan on Sunday because he needs to spend 14 days in quarantine when he returns to Italy and the team’s training appears to resume on May 18.
The Gazzetta dello Sport said Tuesday night that it is not yet clear when the 38-year-old will fly back to Italy. Ibrahimovic is said to want clearer information about the date of the Serie A restart before leaving Sweden.
At the moment, Zlatan is working with Hammarby, of which he is the co-owner, and with Bajen, the forward can train in groups and thus sharpen the form.
Ibrahimovic has a contract with Milan that expires this summer.
On Monday Gazzetta dello Sport wrote that Zlatan “will return” to Milan “soon” and that the forward is inclined to say yes to a continuation of the Serie A club next season.
