A woman who previously worked as a photographic model accuses the president of the United States, Donald Trump, of having groped her and tried to kiss her against her will.

The incident, according to the woman, must have occurred in 1997 in Trump’s VIP room during the US Open tennis tournament in New York that year, reports the British newspaper The Guardian.

He pressed his tongue down my throat and I pushed him away. Then she grabbed me and stroked me all over my body, on my back, on my butt, on my breasts, everywhere, says the woman in an interview with the newspaper.

The woman, now 48, has also provided The Guardian with photos showing she was close with Trump at the time. Several people who were there have also testified that she told them what happened.

This is not the first time that Donald Trump has been accused of engaging in sexual harassment. In a high-profile recording from 2005, made famous shortly before the 2016 presidential election, he is heard saying that he can touch women’s genitals whenever he wants.

Trump initially dismissed what he said as a “locker room joke” but later apologized for his statement.

Donald Trump, through his lawyers, denies the new allegations and, according to The Guardian, makes it clear that the woman’s story is politically motivated because it will be published so close to the November 3 US presidential election.

The woman herself says she chose to come forward because she wants to be a role model for her teenage twin daughters.
