Peter Madsen has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall. Madsen was sentenced in April 2018 for his refusal to serve a life sentence for murdering Swedish journalist Kim Wall during a submarine trip the previous summer. He was found guilty of murder, sex crimes of a particularly aggravating nature, and violation of public order.

Peter Madsen’s own credibility was damaged every time his story about what happened to Kim Wall changed. When the case first touched a missing person, Madsen explained that he freed her in Copenhagen, but then she even has a large hole in her skull, which she poisoned by inhaling carbon monoxide.
