Currently, the police cannot say much about what was done at the site, but it is confirmed that an area was cordoned off, that the bomb shelter was in place, and that residents were evacuated at 4 p.m.
– The police came and told us to bring the most important things, and then they took about twenty of us to a school where the leisure leaders welcomed us and gave us sandwiches and fruit. Some got a little stressed about this, but I’m more stressed because I forgot my homework and have exams tomorrow, says Julia Kaslin, one of the evacuees.
Found by the barricades
Karin Nilsson was shopping when she returned home, she encountered obstacles.
– They didn’t allow me to enter the apartment, so the police had to pick up my dog and now I’m with a neighbor waiting to go home, it’s a bit scary, says Karin Nilsson.
Residents were allowed to return home
During the night, some of the residents were allowed to return to their homes, but Julia and a dozen others were allowed to stay at the school until 9:00 p.m.
– The police haven’t said anything other than that we can go home now, but it’s a little scary when you don’t know anything, says Julia Kaslin.
According to witnesses, the police must have carried objects in bags from the area, but the police cannot yet confirm that any objects are more secure from the place.
