The discovery in both cases was made Saturday night and is believed to be related to the stimulus package proposed by outgoing President Donald Trump which, among other things, would give $ 2,000 to all Americans, but was rejected in the Senate.

Nancy Pelosi is president in the House of Representatives and Mitch McConnell is the majority leader in the Senate.

The pictures show that someone or someone has scribbled “Eliminate rent!” and “We want everything!” on the garage door of Nancy Pelosi’s home in San Francisco and placed a pig’s head and fake blood in the driveway, writes CNN.

The San Francisco Police Department has launched a preliminary investigation into vandalism. Nancy Pelosi has yet to comment on the incident.

At Mitch McConnell’s house in In Louisville, Kentucky, it said, “Where’s my money?” and “Mitch kills the poor.”

In a statement, the Republican condemned the incident but at the same time defended freedom of expression. “I appreciate all Kentucky residents who are committed to democracy whether they agree with me or not. But this is something else. Propaganda for vandalism and bullying has no place in our society,” Mitch McConnell writes according to NBC News.

McConnells also said he was not intimidated.

No one has yet been arrested in either case, according to CNN.

Donald Trump has criticized the amount in the $ 600 support package, about SEK 5,000, on the check that must be issued to all tax-paying Americans, and instead demanded at least $ 2,000.

The House of Representatives had voted in favor of increasing the sum as the proposal was presented by President Nancy Pelosi. But then the proposal was rejected by the Senate and Mitch McConnell later this week.
