Another dubious police intervention against a black citizen is drawing attention in the United States. In Chicago, a police force broke through an apartment door, forced a naked woman to the ground and handcuffed her.

A short distance from the chaotic course of events, when the woman lay on the ground for a while, the police realized that they had entered the wrong house.

– What is happening? Asks the woman lying on the ground in horror, in a video broadcast by CBS 2 Chicago.

He repeatedly tells the police that they were wrong. When the police discover his mistake, one of them apologizes, while the others try to fix his dilapidated front door.

The police raids took place in February last year, but the police recording has only reached the public eye now. City authorities have tried to legally stop the publication, which is also facing criticism.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot describes what happened as a “colossal failure” and says that the African American can recognize himself in the situation.

– We can do better as a city and we will, he says.

Lightfoot promises, among other things, that the rules for public access to police video recordings will be reviewed.

The woman in the clip wants to bring the police authority to justice and her lawyer argues that a white woman should not have been treated in the same way.

Police say they searched for a suspect and obtained the wrong address from an informant.
