A 17-year-old boy was found with stab and cut wounds at Idunsgatan in Seved in Malmö on the night of 3 November.
A 25-year-old who was hunted after a knife murder in Malmö last week was arrested. According to Sydsvenskan, the man was arrested in central Malmö on Sunday.
It was on November 3 when an individual raised the alarm that an injured person had been found outdoors in Malmö. The injured person turned out to be a 17-year-old boy who had stab and cut wounds to his body.
The boy’s injuries were so severe that he died in hospital.
According to the newspaper, the author was suspected of being a 25-year-old man and his arrest was requested in his absence.
The man was wanted internationally when police suspected that the man who is not a Swedish citizen had fled the country, according to the newspaper.
But on Sunday, the 25-year-old could be arrested in central Malmö.
– He was found in the center of Malmö and could be arrested in a non-dramatic way. He has been taken to prison on suspicion of murder, Malmö police spokesman Nils Norling tells Sydsvenskan.
