The number of deaths registered with covid-19 in the world has exceeded 300,000.
More than 4,400,000 cases of the infection were identified during the pandemic, according to the Johns Hopkins University of the USA. USA, which collects official statistics on the outbreak.
The most affected in terms of the number of dead and infected is the United States, with almost 85,000 deaths and more than 1,400,000 cases of infection found.
Europe has been hit relatively hard. In the UK, almost 33,700 deaths have been reported, while almost 235,000 have been infected. Spain has more than 27,300 registered deaths. Almost 230,000 cases of infection have been identified.
In Italy, around 31,400 deaths have been recorded, while more than 223,000 people were found to carry the infection.
France has around 27,100 deaths and just over 178,000 cases of infection.
