The list of countries closing their borders to UK travelers is growing.
On Sunday, several European countries announced that air and train travel to and from the UK would be interrupted on short notice due to the new mutation of the coronavirus that is spreading in the country. Sweden is also preparing a decision on the entry ban from the UK.
During Monday night, Canada, Argentina and Chile have also announced that they will detain travelers from the United Kingdom.
“Given the large number of covid-19 cases that have been observed in some areas of the UK, a decision was made to suspend entry to Canada for all UK passenger aircraft for 72 hours,” said a statement from the Canadian health authorities.
