Möllan’s South American pastry shop invests in alfajores

Next week, Malmö and Möllevången will have a South American pastry shop whose specialty is alfajores made with shortcrust pastry and dulce de leche.
– We have missed them a lot here in Sweden, so why don’t we make them ourselves? Silvia Cardozo says.

At La Dulcita, Argentine alfajores will be the specialty. “The Argentine alfajores are a sponge cake that is filled with the cream of dulce de leche caramel. Then you can have different coverage. In these three we have coconut, dark chocolate and white chocolate ”, says Silvia Cardozo.Picture: Jonas gillberg

Have you ever been abroad for a long time and found a bakery that sells Swedish cinnamon buns? Silvia Cardozo recognizes that feeling because she herself grew up in Sweden with cinnamon buns, but her Argentine heritage makes her feel the same about alfajores.
