The public dental office in Stockholm will present a mobile team to care for patients infected with covid-19.
Those who are infected and who are entitled to necessary dental care and who have a long-standing need for care and attention should be able to get help there. However, dental care should only be given to emergency dentistry.
There has been a regular reception for infected people at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge.
In the Skåne region there has been an emergency room for covid-19 patients established for some time. At Västra Götaland, Folktand care only accepts healthy patients up to the age of 70.
The Swedish Dental Association previously warned that the crown crisis can have serious consequences for dental health, as dental care has been minimized in several regions to release protective equipment for other medical services.
In several regions, Folktand care only receives emergency visits.
