Örgryte’s coach Keith Millen lost his father on Thursday.

On Saturday, he led his Öis to victory, 2-0, against Norrby.

– This has undoubtedly been the hardest week of my life, Millen tells Göteborgs-Posten.

Keith Millen was not present when Örgryte lost 2-0 away to Norrby on Monday. The reason was that he was in England to say goodbye to his father, who died this Thursday after a period of illness.

But when the teams met again on Saturday, he was back on the sidelines.

– Dad was a great soccer person and a soccer lover, he definitely wanted me to do this, to continue and do my job. That’s how he was, Millen tells GP.

“Very hard today”

Örgryte won the emotional match 2-0 after goals from Ailton Almeida and Adam Bergmark Wiberg.

– Today was very hard for me, but I want to thank the players for the result they achieved. It made me feel like this was worth getting over. This win was for Dad, Millen says.

Örgryte has improved after a difficult start to the season and has only one loss in the last nine games. As a result, they are seventh in the table.
