The crisis-affected clothing chain MQ has a new owner, Breakit reports.
It will be former owner Mats Qviberg who repurchases the bankruptcy property group.
“We are pleased to have found a solution that is good for customers and employees,” he said in a press release.

It was in mid-April that the clothing chain went bankrupt.
Earlier this week, GP reported that MQ could acquire a new owner, despite a massive sale having begun.
The company has been in financial trouble for a long time, and on April 16 it filed for bankruptcy granted by the district court. In the application to the District Court, the company writes: “The company lacks the ability to pay its clear and past due debts. This incapacity is not only temporary and, therefore, the company is insolvent. “
Sold and wanted owner
Parallel to the bankruptcy manager who conducts a store sale, they have worked to sell the entire business to a new owner.

According to Breakit, there have been multiple stakeholders, but in the end only the financier Mats Qviberg remained.
