TV viewers question the result of TV4’s “Masked Singer” after drawing attention to the oddities in the broadcast of the TV show. Now Aftonbladet can reveal that the vote shown to viewers is a scam.
What should look like a voting app, where the studio audience can click on their favorite, is in fact just a still image that completely lacks the voting function.

But the production of “Masked Singer” has not appeared on the broadcast. Because when the studio audience clicks on the image to simulate voting, a dialog pops up showing that it is just a still image. There are also functions to “save” or “share” the image and the phone number from which the image was sent.

Sven Melander was the first to be eliminated and in the second episode of the hit TV4 show, Christina Schollin was allowed to leave the show. “Masked Singer” is prerecorded with a mix of studio audiences and audiences that followed the recording digitally. In total between 80 and 100 people in each section.
According to the executive producer of TV4 Anika Beclijevski Everyone in the audience voted by text message, but to make it clear to viewers, the production has made a picture of something that should look like a voting app to make voting more clear to viewers.
– We use a secure voting system where the voice of the people in the studio and on the screen vote by text message. To make it visual and clear, we show the skins on the show on the show so that it gives viewers the best experience, he says.
