Witnesses tell the Tut.by site that she was abducted by unknown persons Monday morning. She must have seen a minibus when she disappeared. A witness says Maria Kolesnikova was kidnapped right next to the National Museum of Art in the Belarusian capital.

One woman claims that she saw the entire course of events:
– I heard the sound of a phone falling to the ground. I turned around and saw people dressed in civilian clothes and masks pushing Maria (Kolesnikova) into this minibus, one of the people picks up the phone, gets on the minibus and then they leave, the woman tells tut.by.
