– Shows that two managers have bathed naked. At the same time, the investigation shows that nothing criminal has happened. In short, there is no sexual harassment, says Hörby City Councilor Cecilia Bladh in Zito (SD) during a press conference on Thursday and continues:
– Employees shouldn’t have to experience a manager getting naked.
The municipality of Hörby has rocked by a scandal after it emerged that two senior managers stripped naked and jumped naked into the pool where other employees were dressed. Since then, the incident during the conference at Örenäs Castle in September has been investigated by a law firm.
Now that the investigation is complete, it appears that there is photographic evidence of the bathroom. The result is that one of the nude bathers is allowed to go while the other is allowed to stay. One reason is that the latter at an early stage, among other things, acknowledged and apologized for the increase to employees, says Cecilia Bladh at Zito.
Hörby’s criticized city manager, Lena Mårtensson Stenudd, is leaving her job. She had previously been criticized for her handling of the nude bathroom incident, in part because she later stated in interviews that there was inappropriate behavior at the conference, but that the matter for the municipality was resolved.
Along with the deputy city director, she was fired earlier this fall after 32 city directors in an open letter stated that they did not trust her.
After the nude bath incident The unions reported the municipality to the Swedish Work Environment Authority, which already earlier this year threatened the municipality of Hörby with a fine due to deficiencies in the working environment.
The municipality is now introducing a ban on alcohol at conferences, says the first vice president of the municipal board, Lars-Göran Ritmer (M).
– We will now continue the work of ensuring a safe work environment for our employees, he says.
