On Wednesday morning, the police received an alert about armed men in Annedal, Gothenburg.
– There were several witnesses who listened, who were completely independent of each other. Everyone called about a man who was deviant and looked like he was holding a knife, says Christer Fuxborg.
Several police officers were alerted to the scene and, according to Fuxborg, the arrest was not dramatic.

35-year-old man arrested
The arrest took place in relation to a soccer field at Seminariegatan in Annedal.
– There were many witnesses at the scene. Also nearby is a type of school, says Christer Fuxborg.
A Gothenburg Post witness says about 30 children should have seen the entire event.
The arrested man is 35 years old and is now under arrest, suspected of serious knife law violation and serious weapons crime.
