Police patrols are now looking for a man whom witnesses have seen leave the scene on foot. Stock Photography.
A man has been found seriously injured in Rissne in Sundbyberg, north of Stockholm. At half past eight, the police received several calls that a man had been injured.
– On the site, we were able to establish that the information is correct. We have assessed them as life-threatening injuries, says Ola Österling, police press spokesperson.
The man has been subjected to violence with some kind of sharp weapon and taken to the hospital by ambulance. A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been launched and technicians will investigate the crime scene.
– The vast majority of patrols are looking for the perpetrator who committed this and who left the place on foot according to witnesses, says Ola Österling.
Both the dog patrol and the police helicopter help in the search for the perpetrator.
