One person was shot in Beckomberga, west of Stockholm.
Police were alerted at 10:10 p.m. on Monday night to a shooting and found a man injured in Söderberga Allé.
– We are at the scene with several patrols, we carried out a technical investigation and spoke with witnesses. But we have no suspects at the moment, says Fredrik Andersson, an officer on duty with the police shortly after 1:00.
Police say the man has life-threatening injuries. A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been launched.
