A man in his 25s has been shot and killed in Märsta, north of Stockholm.
According to information from Aftonbladet, the man was shot in the head.

A large police operation is underway in Märsta, in the municipality of Sigtuna, north of Stockholm. According to information from Aftonbladet, a man was shot in the head. Police received a call about the shooting at 11:50.
– Passersby have seen an injured person outdoors. According to initial information, the person was shot. We are currently working on the case together with ambulance and medical care, says Per Fahlström, press spokesman for the Stockholm Police Region.
The man was found at a bus stop near the Millon Valsta program area. The crime scene has been cordoned off pending a forensic investigation.
– We have blocked and are working with criminal investigation measures, says Per Fahlström.
Among other things, the police search by helicopter for one or more perpetrators. According to the Aftonbladet reporter at the scene, both police helicopters and drones are circling the crime scene and at least nine police cars can be seen around the roadblocks.
The police announced shortly before 1:50 pm that the 25-year-old man has died and that his relatives have been notified.
The crime scene is cordoned off pending a technical investigation.
– We will knock on the door and conduct interrogations to get a clearer idea of what has happened, says Per Fahlström.
During the night, the police will have a greater presence in the area, partly for security reasons, but also to be able to receive information that may have to do with the incident.
Shortly before 2 pm, no one was arrested for the incident and the police still had a large number of patrols in the area.
