Information: Several people are being chased by the drama of a kidnapping: an interesting vehicle found outside Linköping.

A man was found lying along a road in Linköping.
He had been expelled, bloodied and tied with cable ties, from a car after being hijacked, according to information to Aftonbladet.
– The police are looking for the perpetrators, says prosecutor Helene Gestrin.
Police were alerted to County Road 758 on the outskirts of Linköping early Monday morning.
– Information was received from a person who was in this place, says chamber prosecutor Helene Gestrin.
According to information from Aftonbladet, a private person called 112 after seeing how a man was thrown from a car.
When the force reached the scene, the victim was found bloody. According to the same information, it must have been tied with a bridle.

Tasks: Manhandled with a gun
The area was cordoned off and a large police operation began.
Investigative work showed that the man had been kidnapped “at a location in Östergötland” and that the kidnapping drama ended on the county road in Linköping municipality, the prosecutor claims.
– Where the crime began and why it ended where it did is information that I do not want to share in this situation because it is still early in the preliminary investigation, says Helene Gestrin.
During the time he was captured, he is also said to have been subjected to violence, among other things, hit with a pistol, according to Aftonbladet sources.
– It is investigated as kidnapping and aggravated assault.
58 year old wanted arrested
In the police search for suspects, they found clues from a very interesting car early, according to information from Aftonbladet. After a search operation, he was found in a small district in south-west Linköping, something the prosecutor does not want to confirm.
At 11 o’clock on Monday, a 58-year-old man was also wanted on suspicion of being involved in the incident.
– He was arrested at 5 in the afternoon of the same day. It was a quiet, police-controlled arrest. Now he’s been arrested, says Helene Gestrin.
The prosecutor does not want to comment on the evidence or why the suspicions were directed at the 58-year-old man.
However, he claims that the search for more people involved continues.
– In addition, the investigation continues with the analysis of our techniques and the questioning of witnesses.
Still investigating the reason
According to information from Aftonbladet, the victim must be over 50 years old and a resident of Östergötland. It was previously unknown to police, something that initially meant investigators had no clear motive behind the incident.
– It is something that we are still partly investigating, how long it lasted, what happened in the meantime and why it happened. We are still working to get a clearer idea of why it happened.
What does the damage situation look like for the plaintiff?
– He needed medical attention for his injuries, but has not had any life-threatening injuries.
