Reigning champion Malmö FF has not found the shape of the preseason.

The situation is different for Elfsborg, who was completely superior in today’s training match.

Four goals passed from Marko Johansson, but in the other direction there were none.

Malmö FF continues to fight during the preseason. In Borås, they did not have a chance against Elfsborg, who won 4-0.

As the result showed, Malmö did not make it work at all, neither in defense nor in attack. Elfsborg, on the other hand, found exactly the right thing to do.

Rasmus Alm opened the scoring with a solo performance, where Malmö’s defense was far from the center of events. All himself against goalkeeper Marko Johansson was able to put the ball in.

New invisible acquisition

He continued with two more goals in the second half. In the first, Simon Strand provided an assist to Marokhy Ndione and in the second he fixed with a rock-hard free kick. Johansson reached but with his fingertips he had no chance to stop the ball from moving forward.

A moment later it also appeared to be 4-0. But before the goal came, the ball had passed over the short line and was discarded. In injury time, however, Jack Cooper Love made sure the final score was 4-0 against the reigning Swedish champions.

The new acquisition Antonio Colak managed to make his first minutes with the Malmö FF jersey. It showed a few short sequences of fine play, but was mostly pretty invisible. Halfway through the second half he was substituted and the young talent Mubaarak Nuh had to take his place.

The two teams will meet again on Saturday afternoon, starting at 5.15 pm, where the rest of the troop will be on the field.
