VMA and Fredrik hoarse
Due to the launch, a VMA was broadcast and Fredrik hoarse could be heard on Örebro just before 4pm.
– We urge residents in the immediate area to close doors and windows. We have controlled the wind and it is moving in a southeast direction.
According to Kjell Haglund, it was in connection with work at the site that the leak began. There is currently no information on exactly how large the emissions are.
There may be delays in bus traffic
Tex Kihlström, traffic manager for Svealandstrafiken, says that the gas leak affects bus traffic, as the bus station is right next door.
– The police block our only access to the terminal, he says.
In the short term, there may be delays in bus lines 7 and 8 that run through the area, but if the emissions are prolonged it can affect them even later.
– It can really affect tomorrow if we can’t refuel the buses with biogas tonight, says Tex Kihlström.
