With agriculture and forestry at the forefront and a well-educated population, Sweden is well placed to develop and produce large quantities of sustainable biofuels. Despite this, we currently import about 85 percent of our use. If domestic production does not increase rapidly, that share will likely be even higher when the requirements for incorporating biofuels in the reduction obligation tighten.
