It was the special situation with a crowned summer that made the municipality of Lund think of a different way of offering cultural experiences to the residents of Lund. Thus was born the idea of contacting the creators behind the Anonymous houses, says the cultural director of the municipality, Annika Eklund.
– The range that we can normally offer to the people of Lund with cultural experiences such as music, dance and theater performances did not work. Then we discussed that we still have to do something, and it would be something that suits the elderly, children, something that you could have as a goal on your walk or bike and something that you could talk and share on social media.
The municipality ordered three mouse houses at a total cost of SEK 99,000.
Why haven’t you told us that it is the municipality that ordered the mouse houses?
– It’s about the way you work, it’s a kind of burden around you.
Was it worth the money?
– Yes absolutely. You have paid great attention and been greatly appreciated.
