– I take what happened seriously. A 24-hour wait time is not acceptable when security alarms are to provide security for the elderly. We also have a user who did not contact us. We hope that the issues will be resolved as soon as possible before the weekend. But for the sake of safety, we’ve called in additional staff to work on the issue.
Mass emails are criticized
The administration learned of the problems on Thursday night and came out with a mass mailing at 11:20 p.m. and that action has been criticized because it has scared parts of the public, who also received the alarm via text message.
– We have received comments that we go out to the public, our citizens, with information that security alarms do not work optimally. There have also been several reminders overnight about it and it was unfortunate and something we’ll go over now. But we took the safe before the unsafe, because we wanted to provide information on all our platforms, says Gabriella sjöström
