Ebba Busch (KD) harshly criticizes how the municipal management handles the gang war in Värnamo.

Now you get a reply from leader C Annie Lööf.

– KD has ruled with the municipality of C Värnamo for decades, he writes on Twitter.

In recent years, problems with gang warfare have increased dramatically in the Småland municipality of Värnamo. Issues were recently raised on P1’s Kaliber, and in the Christmas speech KD leader Ebba Busch sent via her Facebook page on Wednesday, she raised the issue.

At the same time, he harshly criticized how the Center Party, which participates in the municipal government, has handled the growing problem.

– In just a couple of years, this small town in the heart of Sweden has suffered eleven shootings and five bombings and only one of the crimes has been solved, says Ebba Busch.

He also mentioned Annie Lööf.

– He used to sum up his political line as värnamoliberalism. That concept has today gained a deeper and truer soundboard. If you follow that kind of liberalism, sooner or later you will end up in the Värnamo seat. More Rut deductions, market rent, LAS reforms and abolition of the protection tax. Cool collected under the motto “Forward”. It creates very little freedom, when law and order are lacking, he says.

Joint governance

Former Alliance colleague Annie Lööf (C), who grew up in Värnamo, reacted strongly to the speech.

In the afternoon, he commented on the criticism in a Twittertråd and he also sent a pass to KD when it came to responsibilities at Värnamo.

– KD has ruled with the municipality of C Värnamo for decades. It has been bourgeois, controlled by the C alliance since Värnamo became a city in the 1970s. With Värnamoliberalism, or Gnosjöanda, it is precisely the collaboration between churches, civil society and municipalities. With that, local KD could have said it! He writes on Twitter.
