Currently, there are at least 40 family criminal networks in Sweden that work with the organization and systematization of crime, said Deputy Chief of the National Police Mats Löfving when interviewed in Ekot’s interview on Saturday.
“A poison in society”
During Monday’s press conference, which discussed new wellness investments in the fall budget, Stefan Löfven was asked how he views Mats Löfving’s tasks and how they will be reflected in the budget.
– The budget is presented in several parts and we return to the parts that have to do with the judiciary and the judicial chain, said Löfven, adding:
– This is a poison in our society that we must eliminate.
Understand fear
Löfven also said that he understands that people feel anger, worry and fear.
– We share. We will go back to budget and we will not give up, this needs to be addressed, says Löfven.
Leader C Annie Lööf added that the rule of law must now act in full force. But it is also about strengthening the other parts of society so that the recruitment of criminal gangs can be reduced, she says.
– So a job to go to, faith in the future, a good school and parental responsibility are crucial parts. And we must keep both parties in mind to fight gang crime in the long term.
