It was in January that a three-year-old girl named “Little Heart” was found dead at home with her parents in Norrköping. Both were arrested.
On February 17, the message came that the father had been detained. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, there were no signs of crime or suicide.
A month later, the district court released the “Little Heart” mother freely, but only a few days later she was arrested again after the court ruled.
On Friday, the indictment was sent to the Norrköping District Court. The mother is primarily accused of murder, secondly for extremely cruel abuse and gross negligence in the death of another.
The girl was given drugs
The mother is also prosecuted on felony, drug-related, and drug-related misdemeanor charges. There is also a separate charge for particularly serious abuse for several months before the girl’s death.
The mother “along with others” is suspected of drugging her daughter with narcotic drugs and subjecting her to forceful violence.
The lawsuit states:
“The violence perpetrated along with taking drugs classified as drugs has led to his death.”
According to the prosecutor, the abuse is characterized by the girl “Ruthless and special cruelty in that the act was directed at a childless child.”
Low death for three days
When the police found “Little Heart” in the Norrköping department, she had been dead for three days. The debate on the case has been about the actions of the authorities during the girl’s three years of life.
The parents had documented substance abuse problems and the daughter was placed in a family home immediately after birth. But after a victory in the House of Commons, the parents regained custody of the girl. Subsequently, several reports of concern were made to the social service and then “Little Heart” was found dead.
The girl’s adoptive mother, Melinda Jacobs, had already told about her concern for the girl, including Expressens Fredrik Sjöshult.
– I am completely exhausted now, but this is what I wanted to achieve. Now politicians cannot back down. Now it will be a change, he said of attention.
