He finished his career last winter.

But Lindsey Vonn still suffers from the suites due to her knee injuries.

– He probably needs a prosthesis, he tells Blick.

In February 2019, Lindsey Vonn finished an 18-year career that included three Olympic medals, eight World Cup medals and 82 World Cup victories, but also many serious knee injuries.

Therefore, he failed to break Ingemar Stenmark’s record of 86.

– I wish I had taken it, but not risking the rest of my life, he said in an interview with Sportbladet.

“Pay the price now”

The American newspaper Blick now tells the American that she still has knee problems and that she is learning how to operate in protests.

– I’ll probably have to do it in the next few years. Right now it’s hard for me to see how it could be better otherwise. I try to go to the gym every day, because it hurts more if I don’t exercise. I also tried injections and resting completely from exercise, but I feel constant pain, says Vonn, and continues:

– It is as it is. Now I am paying the price for my success.

“Have a good life”

In any case, the 36-year-old has other things to look forward to. She is now happily engaged to NHL star PK Subban, and the couple plan to get married when the pandemic ends.

– Life is much more than skiing. There are many people who have big problems. I have a good life, a fantastic life. I feel privileged, says Lindsey Vonn.
