– The truth about the Holocaust is much worse than the history of the Holocaust. That you can make up such a story to benefit a movement that rules the world today, says Linda.

The arguments are based on a theory circulating on the Internet, which deals with the fact that behind the scenes there is a small group of people who rule the world in secret, something called The New World Order. Linda confirms that death camps existed, but denies that the genocide committed by the Nazis during World War II took place to the extent that it did.

It’s not just about vaccines

For Linda, vaccine resistance is one way to open the door to more conspiracy theories, and one way to do that is to gain the trust of troubled parents online.

– The important thing is not to pay attention to vaccines. It is important to note that there are more doors outside the opinion corridor. So it’s up to the parents to choose, says Linda.

The pandemic contributes to doubts about vaccines

In the group that SVT follows, Linda is the only one who clearly expresses anti-Semitic views, but many have extreme views on the world and the spread of the coronavirus has given the group new followers.

– There is no deadly coronavirus spreading around the world, says Linda.

As countries closed, companies went to the grave and dissatisfaction began to grow this spring, the anti-vaccine movement gained new momentum in the world, and the worst they can imagine is a mass vaccination against the new coronavirus. .
