Tells Aftonbladet about the cause of the image dispute ● Rimér’s response

Leif GW Persson now tells his side of the dispute with Bingo Rimér.
He does not want in any way to associate with Bingo Rimér as a person, whom he calls “the most famous porn photographer in the country.”
– That I am connected to him is completely unthinkable for me, he tells Aftonbladet.
It was on Monday that Aftonbladet wrote about the TV profile and the crime professor Leif GW Persson, 75, requires a painting that represents his face on a thousand dollar bill as the photographer Bingo Rimér, 45, has created to be destroyed.
Now Leif GW Persson says that for him it is basically not about the painting itself.
– For me, it’s about not wanting to be connected with Bingo Rimér as a person at all costs. I shit on that painting, he tells Aftonbladet.
“Porn photographer”
He also calls Bingo Rimér “the most famous porn photographer in the country.”
– He has earned his living by turning half of humanity, that is, women, into a kind of consumer good. That I would be connected to him is completely unthinkable to me.

Leif GW Persson says he learned from board detours that Bingo Rimér was going to be auctioned at Musikhjälpen, and wrote to him later.
– I wrote him a letter and told him that this is an infringement of my copyright and that I do not agree, that I do not want this. Then he promised me if I didn’t want to, we would drop this. I have saved those emails. But it didn’t, but instead does the opposite.
– This is his food hook for many years, he uses Musikhjälpen as a kind of commercial instrument and when they have his painting up for auction, he sells copies in various sizes and I have a hard time seeing that they end up with Music helps.
You must donate any damage
The crime professor does not intend “to help Bingo Rimér and what he represents.”
– If you now continue with this and it will result in further damages for me then of course I will give the damages in full to charity. There is nothing I can use for my own account. For several years now, I have donated very large sums to various charitable causes and much has been done to help vulnerable children and women.

Aftonbladet has requested Bingo Rimér, which refers to his lawyer Mark Safaryan. He says in a comment to Aftonbladet:
– Bingo Rimér disputes the accusations made against it by Leif GW Persson. The claim is unfounded and we have not seen any material that roughly develops any kind of legal reasoning regarding the legal basis of the claim. As for the accusations that Leif GW Persson makes against the person of Bingo Rimér, I see no reason to comment. What can be said is that we have respect for Leif GW Persson, but we do not share his perception of the reality about Bingo Rimér.

Bingo Rimér writes on Instagram that he sent an email to Leif GW Persson about the board, which was a tribute to him.
