Dejan Kulusevski was in Juventus’ starting eleven against Napoli.

But the game was not played when the Naples health authority prevented Naples from traveling to Turin.

Several clubs in Italian Serie A have been affected by the corona virus, including Napoli and Juventus.

Napoli would have traveled to Turin before Sunday night’s big game against Juventus starting at 8:45 p.m. But the local health authority in Naples decided that it is not safe for the team to leave. Later, various media outlets claimed that the match would not be lost due to the team’s arrest, which means that they are forced to leave the walkover.

Out of place

If one team does not enter the game despite having less than ten infected players, the other team will take the 3-0 victory, the organization of the Lega Serie A league previously announced. The Italian media, however, write that Napoli will take legal action if necessary.

Juventus entered the arena as usual, despite Napoli not being present, and presented a starting eleven that included Dejan Kulusevski.

Wants to postpone

Football-Italia writes that Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has been in contact with Napoli’s ditto, Aurelio de Laurentiis.

– I wanted to postpone the game, which is a reasonable request, but there are very clear rules and we all have to follow them, says Agnelli.
