The alarm on the incident occurred at 9:12 p.m. on Sunday night and the police have come to the scene.

Two masked perpetrators have entered a grocery store on Allfargatan in Torsås and threatened with a knife and then blocked staff.

– They were locked in a room and then managed to alert the police and get out, which is good, says Rickard Lundqvist.

The store has now been closed so the police can secure any leads.

According to police, at least two staff members were at the store when the robbery occurred, but no one should have been physically injured.

Searching with dog patrol

After the robbery, the perpetrators must have left the scene through a back door that leads to the parking lot.

– We are at the scene with several patrols there and we are looking for, among other things, a dog patrol, says Rickard Lundqvist.

It is still unknown whether the perpetrators took stolen property or money.

Police are seeking information from witnesses to the incident.

– We are always grateful to receive information from the public that can lead us to advance the investigation, says Rickard Lundqvist.
