During the night from Friday to Saturday, a security guard in Lysekil was attacked by several perpetrators, who beat the guard and stabbed him with a knife.
– This knife went through clothing but not through the safety vest I was wearing. He was not stabbed by the knife, but in connection with the incident he was also hit in the face, says Fredrik Svedemyr, a police press spokesman.
The incident happened around one thirty at night, but after the attack, the security guard went to Munkedal and raised the alarm. There, the police and the ambulance met, and by then about an hour had passed since the incident.
– We went to the place where it happened to possibly obtain evidence and searched, among other things, with a dog, but could not find anything there. In no case did we find a knife, says Fredrik Svedmyr.
Exactly how many people are said to have been involved is unknown, as is what is behind the incident. A report of aggravated violence has been made against an official. There are currently no arrests. Police will listen more to the security guard if it happened on Saturday.
