Patrik Karlkvist led his Modo to a 2-1 derby win.

Jonathan Dahlén, very upset, was disappointed in Timrå’s efforts.

– It should not be seen as in the second period, do not talk about it, says in C More.

Timrå has shown good form throughout the season. Before the derby against Modo, he had won 18 of the last 20 matches. But today they savored the loss. Modo won 2-1.

Patrik Karlkvist made a brilliant effort on the field. He accounted for the majority of Modo’s shots on target, and even when Timrå pushed, he let go and created chances.

– We played well, a good time. It’s fun! It was harder pressure, but we were able to get out of it quite easily, he says on C More after first period.

“No doubt about it”

At the end of the second period, Karlkvist capped the match with a power goal, which gave Modo the lead in the derby.

Team captain Jonathan Dahlén was clearly unhappy with his Timrå’s effort, when they played with two periods back and one goal.

– We will turn this game around, it should not be seen as in the second period. It is not talked about, Modo will have to fight to win this match. We will start as one more team in the third, he says in C More.

It was above all a faster Timrå who came third and offered much more fun games and various modes. But there were no goals anyway. The match ended 2-1 for Modo.

These are important points for Modo, who is in twelfth place in the table. Timrå retains its first place despite the defeat.

The teams will meet again tomorrow at 6:00 p.m.
