On Sunday, it was time for the leader of the Left party, Jonas Sjöstedt, to deliver his summer speech.

In the speech, Sjöstedt spoke about the latest investigation and the changes in labor law the investigation has shown, and again threatened to topple the government if it proceeded with these proposals, even before it even ends up on the Riksdag table. He said the Left Party has run over the government before and is prepared to do it again.

– We want the government to stop the latest investigation into the nearest garbage can, said Jonas Sjösted and continued:

– If they continue with, we will act. We will not wait until the Riksdag receives the proposal, but as soon as there is an intention, Stefan Löfven can no longer be Prime Minister.

Promises higher state subsidies

In the speech, Jonas Sjöstedt promised not only to overthrow the government if necessary. He also promised higher state subsidies and an additional subsidy to small municipalities.

– All municipalities will receive an increase in state subsidies and we promise additional subsidies to small municipalities like Nordmaling, Sjöstedt said in his summer speech.
