A burglar actually picked the wrong house during an attempted robbery over Halloween weekend.
Why?
He tried to rob one of the biggest MMA stars in the world, who is a gun enthusiast and owns a specially trained guard dog.
UFC fighter Jon Jones claims to have been subjected to an attempted robbery at his home in Albuquerque, USA, over Halloween weekend. Jones has posted a video on his Instagram from a surveillance camera. The clip shows a man in dark clothing ironing in the driveway of Jones’s garage, where several cars are parked. After getting into several cars, the garage door opens and the thief is forced to flee.
Jones runs out of the garage in stockings, with a shotgun in full swing. The two men run out of the picture and Jones then describes the incident in his Instagram post.
“I ended up hitting this guy’s window with the muzzle of my shotgun last night. Next time you’re trying to rob someone, make sure you’re quick enough to get away from him.”
“It was fortunate for him that I was smart enough not to shoot a man trying to escape. Young people, I know these are tough times, but his life is worth more than material possessions.”
Passionate gun enthusiast
In addition to his career in MMA, where he is considered by many to be the greatest in the world of all time, Jones is a known gun enthusiast. He often poses with different weapons and also trains archery. But if security isn’t enough, Jones also owns a specially trained guard dog.
“I’m glad I left Dutch at the house. He wouldn’t have been as nice as me, writes Jones.”
Dutch is a black Dutchman, also called HH, and a popular breed among sports stars. Jones, who has published several movies about the dog training process, trains the dog.
Jones recently gave up the light heavyweight title to make the move to heavyweight where he has yet to get a fight.
