United States President Elect Joe Biden presents his plans to combat the corona pandemic.
The president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden, points out three areas that he wants to prioritize to combat the corona pandemic during his first 100 days in office.
The priority is to have at least 100 million vaccinations in the United States during the period. Number two is ensuring that all students are able to return to their schools and number three is that everyone must wear a mouth guard for 100 days.
– In 100 days, we can change the course of the disease and improve life in America. Whatever your political views, wear a mouth guard for 100 days, urged Joe Biden during a speech Tuesday in Wilmington in his hometown of Delaware.
At the same time, Biden warned that control of the pandemic through vaccines “will stop and be delayed” unless the country’s Congress quickly agrees on a financial support package for those affected.
– My first 100 days will not mean that we can stop the covid-19 virus. I can’t promise that. It took us time to get into this mess. It will take time to get out of there, Biden continued, confirming at the same time that lawyer Xavier Becerra is his candidate for the position of Minister of Health.
It was also confirmed that America’s top infection control expert Anthony Fauci, who attended the meeting via video link, would become Biden’s top crown adviser.
In the same vein as Biden delivered his speech, current President Donald Trump signed a presidential order “to ensure that American citizens have priority to receive the American vaccine.”
Democrat Joe Biden defeated Republican Donald Trump in the November 3 presidential election. On January 20, 2021, Biden will assume the presidency.
