Linda Thomas-Greenfield, a former senior diplomat, is nominated to become the United States Ambassador to the UN.
Jake Sullivan, a former adviser to Hillary Clinton, is nominated to become a national security adviser.
Former Secretary of State John Kerry has been nominated to become the President’s special envoy for climate.
