The battle over who will become president is in its final stages.

All focus is on three nail-biting states: Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Nevada.

If Joe Biden wins one of them, he could call himself the next president of the United States.

Participation in the United States appears to be breaking records. More than 150 million Americans are expected to vote for one of the presidential candidates.

Unsurprisingly, most traditional Republican states have turned to incumbent President Donald Trump, 74.

While most democracies have gone to challenger Joe Biden, 77.

One by one, the so-called master wave states, which tend to change party color between elections, have also been brought home by one of the candidates.

Florida and South Carolina have gone to Trump. Minnesota and Wisconsin to Biden.

At 22 o’clock on Wednesday night Swedish time, most say North Carolina goes to Trump and Arizona to Biden.

At 10:30 pm, CNN announced that Biden had won in Michigan and several other media companies followed suit.

So there are three states left: Pennsylvania, Georgia and Nevada.

Many point to Joe Biden winning the election.

This is the situation right now in every state.

Pennsylvania

With 87 percent of the votes counted, Trump leads with 236,000 votes. This means that Biden has connected. When 83 percent was counted earlier in the evening, the lead was 340,000 votes. The state governor has noted that days may pass before the last vote is counted here.

The Trump campaign announced Wednesday night that they are suing Michigan and Pennsylvania over the vote count.

Georgia

Trump’s lead is shrinking as more mail-in votes are counted. At 95 percent, Trump leads by 48,000 votes. Earlier in the evening, when 93 percent had been counted, the lead was 78,000 votes. During the night of Thursday, the Trump campaign said they had also filed a lawsuit in Georgia to stop the vote count.

Nevada

It’s Biden’s advantage in the final match. He leads with 8,000 votes with 86 percent of the votes counted. At 10:30 p.m., also then with 86 percent counted, the advantage was 7,000 votes. If you keep your advantage here, or one of the other two wins, the election may be over.

Note: Roll numbers are taken from CNN at 10.30pm and 1.30am, Swedish time.
