Jens Lööke’s two-goal shooter when Timrå passed over Modo

Modo has had a difficult week behind him.

On Wednesday, they led 4-0 after the first period but then collapsed and Mora turned around and won 7-6 after deciding in overtime.

So, chance for revenge?

Because on Friday it was time for the current sour derby when Timrå came to visit, but the first period was bad luck and it ended 0-0.

In the second period, league leader Timrå changed and with three minutes remaining, the lead goal came. Viktor Lodin handed the puck to Jens Lööke, who took care of the rest – 1-0. Minutes later, Lodin went 2-0 after monster attacks.

Jonathan Dahlén, who was forced by the ice after taking a hit, was pleased at 40 minutes and also gave a reassuring message about the hit.

– I lost my breath a little, but he found himself in a place that hurts a lot. But it wasn’t ugly at all, says Dahlén, then praised Viktor Lodin:

– The first goal is very nice but the second … Lodin deceives the goalkeeper in the stands and he does it very well. Now we will do the work and close the game.

Because right at the beginning of the last period, Jens Lööke became a two-goal scorer when he made it 3-0. Five minutes from the end, Albin Lundin punctured the result with 4-0. With the victory, Timrå secures the series victory with superior style.
