Dejan Kulusevski is successful at Italian Parma and many believed in him as a starting player against France. But it was a while before Janne Andersson let in the 20-year-old who grew up in Brommapojkarna.

In a television interview, Kulusevki says that he is very surprised that he was not allowed to play from the beginning.

– Oh, I haven’t talked to Dejan, says Andersson. If you say so, you think so. We can talk about it, I have not experienced it as very surprised. But he’s done well and he’s growing up in a new environment, he’s only been in one collection before.

Against France Kulusevski got just over 20 minutes of play.

– We’ll see if there will be more on Tuesday, says Andersson. He has great qualities and is a great soccer player, eventually he will become this.

Parts of the media have wanted to see Kulusevski from the beginning. But Andersson does not consider anyone at all.

– I judge based on the sporting conditions, in this case I have not had any special conversation with Dejan.

Janne Andersson was satisfied with the way the players conducted the match.

– But not with the result. It’s just a random goal, a floating goal, it’s just congratulations that such goals also happen. We have a very good team, they are world champions but in this game I think we are at least as good.

Andersson describes the feeling of losing a match in which his own team is at least as good as the world champions.

– It’s disgusting.
