Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened for the national team in an interview with Sportbladet.

Now he and Janne Andersson have met in Milan.

– The meeting was very good and rewarding, says the league captain.

After receiving his 12th Ballon d’Or, Zlatan Ibrahimovic said he misses the national team. In an interview with Sportbladet, the star also opened the door to matches at Blågult if Janne Andersson was contacted.

– I had replied … “Give me time, I’ll think about it.” But it must come from him. Because if he thinks I’m a distraction, then I’m not interested. If you think I can contribute something, I’ll think about it. Are you inside? Said Zlatan.

“Important to know”

Andersson replied yesterday that he would contact Ibrahimovic, but that there was “plenty of time for that” because the next meeting of the national team is only in March.

But already last night, Janne Andersson and Secretary General Håkan Sjöstrand traveled to Milan to meet Ibrahimovic.

– When Zlatan opened for matches in the national team, it felt natural and important to get together and discuss this as soon as possible. I’m glad I got a meeting so fast, Andersson tells the union’s website, continuing:

– The meeting was very good and rewarding, and we agreed to continue the dialogue in the future.

More detailed details about the meeting are unclear and it is unclear if Ibrahimovic has now been made removable.

“I have no other comments,” Andersson writes in a text message to Sportbladet.
