Now you risk a long shutdown

Smålands derby loaded.
J-Södra then attacked, after Östers Stefan Karlsson received a red card for grabbing Moustafa Zeidan.
– You feel pressure around your neck, says Zeidan to Fotbollskanalen.
The decisive event took place 30 minutes into the game. Zeidan began fighting at Karlsson in his quest to stop a counterattack. In the end, Karlsson got tired and grabbed his opponent by the neck.
– You see everything on replay, there is not much to say, everything is clear. I shoot to stop a counterattack and then he’s in absolute control over me. Simple. It’s just that, Zeidan tells Fotbollskanalen.
Free kick wanted before
At Dplay, Öster’s coach Denis Velic was of the opinion that head referee Per Melin should have taken a free kick for Öster directly and that the fall of Karlsson’s brain could have been prevented.
– But I absolutely do not defend Stefan’s actions, says Velic.
Despite one man less, it was Öster who took the lead in the match (via Carl Johansson). But J-Södra turned around and won with a crushing 4-1.
It can be a long shutdown
The question now is whether Stefan Karlsson is in for a longer suspension. On the Dplay broadcast, former FIFA referee Jonas Eriksson said he would land on a three- or four-match suspension.
– It may sound reasonable, but I don’t want to speculate, says Öster coach Denis Velic.
J-Södra is third in the table, Öster is fifth.
