Police were alerted to Sundbyberg yesterday after a man with a knife was seen at an ATM.
According to information from Aftonbladet, the police are investigating whether he is the same man suspected of the robbery murder in Rissne.
– We are investigating incidents with similar approaches, says Anna Westberg in the Stockholm police.
Last Saturday night, a man was stabbed at an ATM on the outskirts of Hemköp in Rissne. The 45-year-old father of seven children died of his injuries.
Since then, the police have been chasing the killer.
On Monday night at 10:20 PM, a person called 112 after seeing a man armed with a knife outside Willys in downtown Sundbyberg.

“Violation of the law of the knife”
The knife man is said to have been seen walking towards a person at an ATM, but then ran from the scene.
– A report has been written on violations of the Knife Law. We have not been able to locate the applicants, says Anna Westberg, a press spokeswoman for the police in the Stockholm region.
According to information from Aftonbladet, law enforcement investigators working on the 45-year-old’s murder are interested in the case Monday night.

Tasks: similar signals
The signal element on the man with the knife must match that of the killer in Rissne, according to information from Aftonbladet.
The police cannot confirm the information about the connection, but only state that they are investigating “incidents with possibly similar approaches”.
On Tuesday, police released photos of the killer in Rissne and also came out with a more detailed report.
In the same press release it was written that they work “intensively with, among other things, witness information, technical investigations and internal and external reconnaissance where incidents with possible similar approaches are investigated.”
