Liberals are demanding that the latest controversial investigation proposal be signed into law, unless the social partners agree. That line is now receiving criticism from one of the party’s own supporters, the Stockholm Regional Health and Medical Care Council, Anna Starbrink.
In a blog post, Starbrink writes that the party has become too tied to the Las Inquiry proposal and has left no room for negotiations. This could lead to a government crisis, as the Left Party threatens to topple the government if the investigation proposal is presented.
“The benefit of sticking to the research proposal on labor law in every detail is not proportional to the damage to the labor market, to companies and, above all, to the daily lives of people who run the risk of causing political chaos” writes Anna Starbrink.
