The lawyer was expelled from the murder case after the secret prosecutor’s report.
According to unconfirmed information from Aftonbladet, it was due to information that emerged after the encrypted gangster service Encrochat was cracked.
DN is now reporting that the attorney is suspected of having disclosed information about the murder investigation to a gang leader.
Hours earlier, Aftonbladet was able to reveal that a lawyer had been forced to drop a high-profile murder case.
For eight months, he represented a gang member from Vårbynätverket who is suspected of murder and attempted murder.
But after the prosecutor raised the alarm through a secret statement, the lawyer was forced to drop the case.
“Revealed by encrypted chat”
According to the Aftonbladet informant, the course of events is linked to information that has emerged on Encrochat, a super-encrypted service that was hacked by French authorities earlier this year. The decryption of the service has been a severe blow to the Vårbynätverket and has led to many members being detained now, including the designated leader.
District attorney Johanna Rejdemo Storbjörk declined to comment on why she alerted the lawyer and what her statement contains. He has also declined to comment on Aftonbladet’s information that the defection has anything to do with the decrypted information from Encrochat.
On Tuesday night, DN also reported on the case. Sources tell the newspaper that the lawyer is suspected of violating the duty of confidentiality and that he runs the risk of prosecution. According to DN, the lawyer is suspected of having leaked information from the murder investigation to the designated leader of the Vårbyn network precisely through Encrochat.

The Encrochat account to which the lawyer is linked must have been in direct contact with the leader and, among other things, warned of any secret police operations.
“Be careful and check all the spaces if the police put up someone or a camera or something. They have put cameras in gates and storage rooms ”, it should have been written from the account that is linked to the lawyer according to DN.
Aftonbladet has searched in vain for the lawyer for several days.
