The target of the shooting at an apartment in Hermodsdal on Wednesday night is suspected to be a Malmö resident. The 24-year-old man has been arrested for involvement in two different murders, but has been released. Therefore, it is said that he has a great threat against him.
The police received the alarm about the shooting in Docentgatan at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Patrols at the scene were able to establish that at least one shot was fired through the window towards the exposed direction, but that no one was home at the time.
No one has been arrested for the act, which is classified as a felony and vandalism.
According to information from Sydsvenskan, the target of the act is suspected to be a 24-year-old Malmö resident who has appeared in various investigations into aggravated acts of violence in Malmö in recent years.
In fact, the 24-year-old is expected to report to an institution soon after he was convicted of setting off two fireworks at a fast food restaurant that detonated near staff.
This, combined with a missed probation, has landed him a seven-month prison sentence.
